News: Six Flags America - Free admission for fireworksBy Wes |
Jun. 19th, 2006 -- Six Flags America partners with both Prince George’s County Fire/EMS as well as Montgomery County’s Fire/EMS Departments on the annual Fireworks Amnesty Program. This program encourages citizens to turn in their fireworks to these two participating Fire Departments and receive a one-day 2006 admission ticket to Six Flags America. Attend a safe, professional fireworks display and leave the pyrotechnics up to the experts who are skilled at setting off fireworks for the general public. As a good community neighbor and upstanding company, Six Flags America truly values the well being of its Guests and strongly suggests they all put safety first, celebrating the 4th of July in a safe environment. This holiday, Six Flags America presents it’s annual “4th of Jazz” event; an electrifying night of entertainment – smooth jazz tunes mixed with the explosion of fireworks! Six Flags America is a FULL DAY of family fun that includes the 45th Anniversary Celebration, over 100 rides, shows and attractions – plus an incredible water park, Hurricane Harbor. The “4th of Jazz” concert and fireworks are FREE with paid park admission. Visit www.sixflags.com for more information or to purchase tickets. Fireworks should be turned in at any Prince George’s/Montgomery County Fire Department; not at Six Flags America. Call the Prince George’s County Fire Department at 301-583-2200 or Montgomery County Fire Department at 240-683-6520 if citizens have fireworks to turn over or for more information.
