News: Man dies after riding Goliath at SFoG

Jul. 28th, 2006 -- A man died after riding Goliath at Six Flags over Georgia on Thursday. He came back into the station unconscious and was later declared dead at the hospital.

The incident occured around noon on Thursday. Park medical employees were treating the 45-year old man for cardiac arrest when paramedics and firefighters took over and drove the man to the hospital.

Goliath was shut down and inspected, but found no problems with the ride.
