News: Busch Gardens Europe drops a 205-foot tall hint

By Wes

Aug. 11th, 2006 -- After months of speculation as to what Busch Gardens Europe is building for the 2007 season, the park has posted a very enticing teaser video on their website.

In the video, a point-of-view animation is shown of what appears to be a B&M Diving Machine coaster (also known to many as a Vertical Drop coaster) which would feature at least one drop straight down at a 90-degree angle.

This would make it the second installation of this type of coaster in North America.  The other is located at the park’s sister park Busch Gardens Africa in Florida.

The park has not disclosed any specific information about the new attraction, including the name, track length and top speed.  The park plans to "keep us hanging" until August 23, when more details about the ride will be unveiled.
