Beginning August 12, it will now cost 67 dollars for a one-day, one-park adult ticket to both Universal parks: Universal Orlando and Islands of Adventure.

Universal declined to comment on whether the price increase were affected by Disney's recent announcement, but did state that the increase was based on a desire to stay competitive in the market.

This past week, Disney increased their ticket prices to sixty-seven dollars.
