News: Hong Kong Disneyland announces annual pass planBy Aaron |
Sep. 28th, 2006 -- After failing to meet a target of 5.6 million visitors in its first year, Hong Kong Disneyland announced today that it is introducing a variety of annual plans. There are three types of passes based on when they allow admittance; weekdays only, weekdays and weekends with 25 non-specified days, and year-round. For each type of pass, prices are different from children, adults, and senior citizens. The least-expensive pass, about $47.50, is for children and is applicable on weekdays only. The most expensive, over $230, grants adult admission year-round. People who buy the passes within the next three months will receive discounts for hotel dining and accommodations. Some passes will be limited in supply as a means of crowd control. Some travel agents are also complaining that the passes are too expensive. See The Standard for more. |
