News: Six Flags guests to abide by new code of conduct

By Chris L

Oct. 18th, 2006 -- The theme park operator, which operates some 30 parks in North America, already put in place a no-smoking policy this season.

The newly implemented guidelines ban unruly and offensive behavior, which includes but is not limited to line-jumping and holding places in line. Clothes with rude or offensive language or graphics will also not be permitted -- and shirts cannot be turned inside out as a solution, the company said.

The guidelines will be posted outside ticket booths and will be enforced by employees, Goldberg said. Guests who violate the rules risk their removal from the park -- without a refund.

The code of conduct will be implemented for next season, which begins in the first quarter of 2007.
