 Nov. 17th, 2006 -- Former WaterWorld USA in Sacramento, CA has been acquired from Six Flags Inc. by Palace Entertainment, the parent company of numerous water parks and family entertainment centers across the country.The water park has been renamed Raging Waters Sacramento and is to reopen in May of 2007. In addition to plans to improve the existing facilities, Palace Entertainment is currently working on a major new attraction for next season that will be announced soon Palace Entertainment now owns and operates seventeen parks in California, employing more than 3,300 people.
