Jan. 7th, 2007 -- On January 3, 2007 a woman claimed she had been sexually battered, beaten and threatened while in line for the "Revenge of the Mummy" attraction at the Florida theme park.It has been reported that the 32-year-old woman told Orlando law officials that she approached a man she thought was a park employee and said that she was looking for the entrance of the ride. The man then told her to follow him. According to the police report, the man then grabbed her and dragged her to an emergency exit hallway, where the man then threw her to the ground. The police also said that she had said she screamed for help and that the man had told her he was going to take her life. The police report also says that he held her down and sexually battered her, while she continued to scream. The man then grabbed her and began repeatedly smashing her forehead into the ground. She continued fighting until she was able to escape. Tom Schroder, Universal Orlando spokesman, has announced that the park is and will continue cooperating fully with the investigation. According to Schroder, "Nothing is more important to us than the safety and well being of our guests. We want our guests to be safe and feel safe while they're here."
