Jan. 17th, 2007 -- Bell's Amusment decided to sell their highest grossing ride in history to Tulsa County. The ride will be moved to the Tulsa State Fair and will continue to operate. Robbie Bell the President of the park said, "The sale was very reasonable. It (the sale) will help us a little in our ability to move the park." The sale is still subject to review by the authorities legal counsel. The Sky Ride was installed in 1966 at the fair, which was the the highest grossing ride. Bell's bought the ride five years later and had it in operation ever since. The route takes passengers over top of the fairgrounds and carries up to 1,000 people per hour.
