News: Change in plans for Midwest LegolandBy Aaron |
|
Feb. 5th, 2007 -- Last year a development company was considering building a Legoland theme park in Olathe, KS. After plans with Olathe officials fell apart, RED Developers are now looking at Kansas City, MO. The new park would be the centerpiece of a $539 million development that would cover 100 acres. Plans for the project include a 250-room hotel, a 25,000-square-foot Sea Life aquarium, and restaurant and office space. About a third of the complex's cost would be paid for by city and state tax incentives. See the Northwest Herald for more. |
