Kings Island officials say that the 118-foot-tall loop has been removed, but other parts of the coaster are still under construction.

The Ohio Department of Agriculture required the park to make modifications after an accident on July 9 sent 27 people to the hospital. The park decided to remove the loop so it could use lighter trains.
