News: Disney surfs up with new water park pass

By James R

Feb. 22nd, 2007 -- Walt Disney World has announced that it is offering a new annual Water park pass for its Florida patrons.

On February 21, 2007, Walt Disney World announced that it has added a new offering to their admissions pallet. The new deal will offer Florida residents annual entry to the Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach water parks.

The only condition for this new deal is that the pass is only valid after 2 p.m. daily. The pass will cost Florida residents $59 plus tax for patrons 10 and older, while it will cost about $47 for children between the ages of 3 and 9.
Dave Herbst, Disney Spokesperson, said that the passes are directed towards those living nearby.

In addition, the parks are offering another deal allowing unlimited entry to both places costing $99.95, with $80.50 for children between the ages of 3 and 9.

A normal single-day ticket to one of the parks costs $39; however, Typhoon Lagoon is closed for refurbishments, but will reopen to Disney patrons March 18.
