News: Story Land sued over 2004 injury

By Aaron

Jun. 8th, 2007 -- Story Land, a New Hampshire theme park owned by Kennywood Entertainment, is being sued by a family over an injury on a tractor ride that allegedly happened in 2004 for a non-specified amount.

The suit claims that a seven-year-old girl was struck three times while boarding the ride, suffering memory and speech function loss as a result. The attorney who filed the suit says that he wanted to wait as long as possible before doing so in order to give the girl time to recover. Both Kennywood Entertainment and the Morrell Corporation, which owned the park at the time of the incident, are named in the lawsuit.
