Oct. 2nd, 2007 -- Today the 128-foot-tall “Wildcatter”, an Intamin 1st Generation Freefall, came tumbling down to make way for the new Tony Hawk’s Big Spin coaster.Wildcatter, which has thrilled more than 17 million people since 1982 was imploded at 2 p.m. local time. The ride debuted under the name Texas Cliffhanger, then was changed to G-Force in 1995, then made it’s final name change in 1999.
