Six Flags Magic Mountain will start the removal of the ride mid-December as part of the company’s plan to thin out its fleet of aging rides to make room for future expansions.

Freefall will operate until December 9 or 15.

Sue Carpenter with Magic Mountain was quoted though saying that Déjà vu, Colossus and Superman: The Escape are not on the list of rides up for removal.

Other rides leaving in late 2007 or early 2008 are:

• Sierra Twist (Schwarzkopf Bayern Kurve)
• Circus Wheel (Tilt-a-Whirl)
• Spin-out (Chance Rotor)
• Granny Grand Prix (Antique car ride)
