May. 1st, 2008 -- Hershey, PA – On Friday, May 16 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Hersheypark will be open overnight for the Seventh Annual Junior/Senior All Nighter. This drug- and alcohol-free event takes place rain or shine, and school rules apply. This is a school-sponsored activity, and the participating schools provide adult supervision throughout the night.
Nineteen of the most popular Hersheypark rides, including eight of the Park’s exhilarating roller coasters, will be open for this exclusive event for high school juniors and seniors. One free chaperone ticket is provided with every 10 student tickets. Approximately 5,000 students and chaperones from more than 60 high schools from Pennsylvania and surrounding states plan to attend. The evening will include music from two live bands, a movie, arcade games, and a dance party with disc jockeys from a local radio station. The event concludes with an all-you-can-eat hot breakfast buffet.
