Jun. 12th, 2008 -- WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Back by popular demand, the jaw-dropping Kinetix, returns to Busch Gardens June 13 with an all-new dynamic performance. It’s a visual explosion, bursting with the energy of 36 performers who weave thrilling circus acts, breathtaking theatrical effects and unforgettable songs together to create a memorable night of entertainment. “Kinetix is a heart-pounding, dance party that’s fun for the whole family,” said Shari McGhee, vice president of entertainment for Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. “The athleticism, strength and beauty of the performance will thrill guests of all ages.” Directed by Johnny Dean Harvey, Kinetix is a multifaceted show of unprecedented proportion featuring acrobats, singers, dancers, musicians, aerialists and specialty performers from around the globe. Driven by rock ‘n’ roll music and awe-inspiring visuals, the cast of high-energy performers transforms the Royal Place Theatre into a kaleidoscope of entertainment. Kinetix is a visual showcase where aerial and German-wheel acrobatics, unicycle riding, hoop diving and spinning bungee performances are just part of the fun. Before each performance, audience members have an opportunity to get their photograph taken with cast members. Kinetix will be presented nightly through Aug. 17 in the park’s Royal Palace Theatre, an outdoor amphitheatre where nighttime skies and dramatic lighting are part of its unique appeal.
