From live blues to delicious barbecue, Six Flags Darien Lake offers the newest bike event in Western New York. On June 5th from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Six Flags Darien Lake in conjunction with Bert's Motor Sports and Adelphia will host a Bikes, Blues and BBQ event for hundreds of motorcycle enthusiasts and their families.The event features a Best Bike (motorcycle) Competition, festive food, live music and a special performance by Grammy-nominated, Roomful of Blues! Roomful of Blues will perform blend of swing, jazz, jump blues and soul at the park's Midway Gazebo Stage. In addition, Roomful of Blues is currently celebrating their 35th anniversary, and has earned four Grammy Award nominations and many other accolades, including two W.C. Handy Blues Awards. Twice, the DownBeat International Critics Poll chose Roomful of Blues as the Best Blues Band. Bert's Motor Sports will host Buffalo's Best Bike contest in Six Flags Darien Lake's parking lot. The three hottest motorcycles picked by Bert's will be on display near the Midway Gazebo Stage inside the theme park from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. where guests will be able to chose their favorite bike. The Best Bike winner will receive a great package from Adelphia and Bert's Motor Sports. An array of specialty vendors includes One Eyed Jacks, The Cow Pok, Altered Image and more. Plus, guests can end the evening with the newly enhanced Laserblast! laser light and pyrotechnics show. And, on June 5th motorcycles park for FREE! Admission to the event includes over 100 rides, shows and attractions, and specialty event entertainment. Discount admission tickets at Wegmans Food Markets are $21.49 for adults and 16.99 for children under 48". Main Gate admission is $31.99 for adults and $19.99 for children under 48".
