Park employees shut down the ride for 30 minutes to search for the device. Maintenance workers doing their daily morning inspection found the pump below the lift hill. It was later returned by Bugs Bunny and a WJZ-TV newscrew.

While the pump was missing, the park visitor has had to endure four shots of insulin each day in order to keep her diabetes in check.
