News: Roofs aplenty for Hong Kong Disneyland

By BryanWood

Jun. 24th, 2004 -- With the heavy rains and high humidity often found in Hong Kong, The Walt Disney Company has made sure that their newest theme park will not be affected by the weather.

Hong Kong Disneyland, which will cover 310 acres on Hong Kong's Lantau Island overlooking Penny's Bay, will have roof coverings at every turn. 83% of the attractions and 90% of the restaurants will be covered by roofs or enclosed and air-conditioned to combat the often muggy air in Hong Kong.
