Aug. 17th, 2004 -- A new Euro Amusment Show has been announced from the people that brought the IAAPA in the United State's. The convention will give oppertunities to businesses and networking oppertunities to create larger foundations. Emmanuel Mongon, chairman of Euro Amusement Show Board of Counselors said: "We are pleased to announce that the development of the show is moving forward at a fast pace, with exciting innovations, a comprehensive exhibit sales and attendee marketing campaign, and seamless show operations. EAASI and IAAPA have been tremendous partners in contributing to this effort, and our entire industry will benefit from their mutual work and cooperation." The new show will be extremely important to Europe's tourist and amusement park industry. European theme parks have generated $2.9 billion dollars (US), and attracted 40 million customers to its ten largest parks in 2003. The show should help boost productivity in the amusement area for Europe. The EAASI has now been formed to represent the larger majority of European ride manufacturers. The goal of the foundation is to unite all the activities that bring the manufacturers money and growth and represent them with the IAAPA and the local legistlation. "As the worldwide economy strengthens, we are confident that even more visitors will visit Europe's great amusement parks and theme parks," said Wieland Schwarzkopf, the president of the European Association for the Amusement and Supplier Industry (EAASI). "The Euro Amusement Show will provide a wonderful marketplace of new rides, services, and products that parks and attractions can purchase to provide new and exciting experiences for their guests."
