By Aaron

Aug. 20th, 2004 -- Castaway Bay, Cedar Point's indoor waterpark that is currently under construction, is about 70 percent completed, according to a report released yesterday. It will officially open on November 5.

The waterpark will stand five stories tall and cost around $22 million when completed. Castaway Bay will be 38,000 square feet, packed with 11 water slides, a 520 foot-long water coaster, a 100,000 gallon wave pool, and many other attractions, all with a Caribbean theme.
