Aug. 21st, 2004 -- On August 8, 19-year-old Douglas Frederick managed to trick a Cedar Point worker and steal $1,000 from a game has been charged with obstructing official business, theft, conspiracy and burglary.According to court documents, Frederick, dressed up as an employee, instructed a worker at a Bean Bag Toss game to report to the game office and ran off with $1,000 in the employee's absence. At the same time, a 15-year-old girl attempted to do the same at the Winner's Circle game, but failed to convince workers there she was an employee. Frederick was later seen with the girl and another man, Shaun O'Donnell. Police caught the girl, but Frederick and O'Donnell escaped, only to be caught later.
