News: Group tries to break nude riding record By Aaron

Aug. 27th, 2004 -- In May of this year, 28 people set the record for the most people to ride a coaster while nude. Today, another group will try to break that record. 32 people will board Nemesis at Alton Towers while naked today. Mike Lorimer, the park's marketing manager, says that the park is pleased to help break the record. Lorimer is confident the record will be broken, although the official results will not be known until the airing of a 50th anniversary Guinness special next month. The park will be closed to the public during the event. The previous record of 28 was set on the Nemesis Inferno roller coaster at Thorpe Park. See the Scotsman News for more on this story.
