Oct. 4th, 2004 -- HERSHEY - Gerald Charles Dickens, great-great grandson of renowned author Charles Dickens, returns to The Hotel Hershey December 5, 6, and 7 to perform the timeless holiday tale “A Christmas Carol.” Holiday With Dickens includes “Holiday Tea with Dickens” and “An Evening with Dickens.” Dickens brings his famous great, great grandfather’s tale to life by transforming his voice to portray the 26 characters created in the classic holiday favorite. The spacious Fountain Lobby of The Hotel Hershey is the backdrop for “Holiday Tea with Dickens.” Guests can enjoy delicate, fresh pastries and an assortment of English teas. Prices for the 3 p.m. performance are $39 for adults and $23 for children ages 3 to 8, inclusive of tax and gratuity. The award-winning Circular Dining Room is the setting for “An Evening with Dickens.” At 6 p.m., a punch reception and cash bar will be held in Fountain Lobby; seating for dinner is at 6:30 p.m. each evening.
