News: First Silver Bullet rides up for auction

Nov. 5th, 2004 -- On Dec. 7, Knott's Berry Farm will open Silver Bullet, the theme park's highly anticipated inverted roller coaster. Starting today, people across the world have a chance to be among the first to ride.

Knott's is auctioning off the chance to be one of the first sixty riders on Silver Bullet, with 28 riders in the first train and 32 in the second. Bids will begin at $100 dollars and proceeds will go to the Speech and Language Development Center of Buena Park. The auction opens at 5 p.m. Pacific Time on Nov. 5 and closes on Nov. 30, at 8 p.m. Pacific Time.

In addition to one of the coveted seats, the sixty highest bidders will also receive a special T-shirt, free admission to the park on Dec. 7, a special gift, and the chance to partake in the opening ceremony.
