Dec. 2nd, 2004 -- Walt Disney World recently announced that they were raising one-day ticket prices while offering a new deal that would save money for guests who stay at the park for longer periods of time.

A full-price ticket for Disney World has now climbed to $59.75, up five dollars from the previous price. In March of 2004, Disney raised the price of a single-day admission $2.75 to $54.75. Overall, ticket prices have increased 15% over the past twelve months.

At the same time, Disney unveiled "Magic Your Way" which allows guests to create specifically customized tickets, tailored to the duration of their stay and what activities they want to do. The program is designed primarily for guests on long-term trips. Disney points out that guests who spend seven days at the park will pay only about $30 for each day's admission, half the normal price.
