Dec. 2nd, 2004 --
Geauga Lake officials sat down earlier this week with Bainbridge Township trustees and residents to address concerns. The Bainbridge portion of the park, the former Sea World side, is now being converted to Wildwater Kingdom waterpark for the 2005 season. Residents expressed their happiness with the fact that that portion of the park did not operate during the season this year. Other residents were not happy with fireworks shows that were put on during the season, but General Manager Bill Spehn said the show will not be back. He also expressed that he wants the park to go back to a great family atmosphere at the park, the way it used to be. For more information, see The News-Herald. |
