News: Seats still up for first SB ridesBy Aaron |
Dec. 3rd, 2004 -- Last month, Knott's auctioned off 60 seats on the first two trains to leave Silver Bullet, the park's new coaster opening Dec. 7. All 28 seats on the first train were bid on, but only 24 on the second, leaving eight seats open. Rather then attempt to auction off these remaining seats, Knott's is selling them for $100 each. Among the 52 people who did manage to successfully bid on seats during the auction, bids ranged from the minimum of $100 to three people who bid $500 per seat. Proceeds from the event will go to the Speech and Language Development Center. To find out more or to purchase one of the remaining seats, visit the event website. |
