Six Flags Over Georgia announced Skull Island on Feb. 3.The one-acre water play area will be highlighted by a tipping water bucket 66 feet above ground "designed to look like a pirate skull." It will top every few minutes, soaking guests below with more than 1,000 gallons of water. Another bucket, 6 feet high, will spill 750 gallons of water on guests. A 50-foot-high water geyser will spout water randomly. Hundreds of water wheels, buckets, fountains and sprayers are located in the structure. Skull Island will have six water slides, ranging from 6 feet to 42 feet tall. Skull Island will open Memorial Day weekend. Admission to Six Flags Over Georgia will include admission to Skull Island.
