News: Bookings flood Hong Kong DisneylandBy Aaron |
Mar. 10th, 2005 -- It seems as though many people can't wait for Hong Kong Disneyland to open. The park's hotel has received 10,000 reservations since opening a call center three weeks ago, a number which stunned park officials. Most of the bookings have come from Hong Kong residents. The park, set to open Sep. 12, is beginning to look for employees. An estimated 5,000 people will be employed by the park, with a majority to be hired in April. Hong Kong Disneyland has already begun holding auditions for some of the park's 500 performers. See The Orlando Sentinel for more. |
