News: Two new rides arriving at VisionlandBy Aaron |
Apr. 4th, 2005 -- Back in December, Visionland announced the arrival of Zoomerang, a Vekoma Boomerang roller coaster relocated from Australia, for the park's 2005 season. Today, Visionland announced the second new ride for 2005: a log flume built on the site of an older log flume that was unusable when the park's current owners purchased it in 2003. The log flume will be 1,180 feet long with 26-foot-tall drops. The park plans on holding a contest to name the ride. In addition to Zoomerang and the log flume, new food carts, shops, and games will come to Visionland this year. See The Birmingham News for more. |
