News: Opening of Kingda Ka delayedBy Aaron |
Apr. 20th, 2005 -- The wait to ride Six Flags Great Adventure's new record-breaking roller coaster, Kingda Ka, has been lengthened. On Monday, the park announced that the opening of the ride will be pushed back. It was initially scheduled to open on Saturday. Thursday's scheduled media day has also been delayed. The amusement park said that it needs additional time to test the ride, adding that the ride is testing well and that there are no safety concerns with Kingda Ka. SFGadv did not announce the new date for the ride's opening, but may do so by the end of the week. See the Ashbury Park Press for more. |
