 Apr. 22nd, 2005 -- Those waiting for Geauga Lake's new waterpark, Wildwater Kingdom, will have to wait longer. The waterpark, scheduled initially for a May 28 opening, has been pushed back to an undisclosed date sometime in the middle of June. Geauga Lake attributed the delay to record-breaking snowfall over the winter. In light of the postponement, the park will offer early season discount tickets for $19.95 until Wildwater Kingdom opens. Geauga Lake's existing waterpark, Hurricane Hannah’s Waterpark, is still on schedule to open May 28. The park itself begins seasonal operation on May 7. See Crain's Cleveland for more |
