More About This Ride
Ride Restrictions:
Minimum height restriction:   48 in.

Features:
Features a section of track dubbed the "Trick Track," a homage to legendary coaster designer Harry Traver.

History:
During construction in 1997, its lift-hill was blown over in a storm. However, the damage was quickly repaired so that it would be able to open as scheduled for the 1998 season.

While Shivering Timbers has been open since 1998, it finally received an on-ride photo camera (located just before the helix) and its accompanying booth in June 2002.

This ride is amazing! It's just non-stop thrills until the end with plenty of airtime. Worth the trip, especially if you hold a Cedar Fair season pass!

This ride is so huge! It never stops. I would love to make a trip out to ride this beast.

By far the best ride in the park...but that isn't hard to accomplish at Michigans Adventure...

It's a great ride and I loved it, but people told me it use to run much better.

This ride is amazing! It is the tallest coaster in Michigan, and it is awesome. There was plenty of airtime. I rode it 12 times in one day, and it never got boring. I don't know what 89magnumxl200 was thinking, but they do use 2 trains.

All the hype about this coaster. All the top 10 rankings about this coaster and I just was not impressed with it. The first drop is breathtaking and that first hill after the drop I loved, but the rest of this ride is rough. Yes, I know its a wooden coaster, but lets get real here. I came back to the station in pain and a neck cramp. Maybe the ride is showing its age, I dont know, because I would like to beleive it used to be a wonderful coaster. But when I rode it, I did not have a very fun time at all.

Easily the best ride at Michigan's Adventure, and the airtime is plentiful. Do not visit MIA without riding this!
