It is my least favorite stand-up roller coaster.

Mantis is the worst stand-up coaster. It's very painful for a B&M.

I am truly shocked by those comments...Maybe because it was my first stand-up and I didn't know any better? I rode two others since then - one at Six Flags Over Georgia and one at Paramount's Carowinds, and I thought Mantis was better than those two.

One of my favorite roller coasters. I absolutely love how the finale throws you around.

Mantis is definetely a fun coaster. Its first drop gives you the sensation of leaping off the edge of a tall building. The second half of the ride really throws you around, but it's still good. Not as good as The Riddler's Revenge, but still a notable ride.

This is my only stand-up and it isn't that great of a ride. It hurts and I guess I was just expecting something more.

I love Mantis. Its loops are just so big and the second half of the ride is so cool. I would take that as a stand alone coaster.

Mantis was a great ride. It was fun, but also painful when we were going through the last part of the track.

I like a rough ride. In my opinion, it makes it more fun. Mantis is an awesome coaster.

Lame stand up, though at least it is better than the TOGO ones. I would take my hometown Scorcher over it any day. 3/5

This coaster is in my top 5. It may be rough, but I don't care! It has an amazing freefall sensation during the first drop, giant inversions, and it can really show what can be done with elements less than 20 feet tall. I had an on and off headache for almost a week after it, but I still love it! If you didn't ride this yet, do not ride it during the day unless you are desperate for on-ride videos or on-ride photos. The line is approximately 15 minutes at night and an hour long during the day.

Anyone know how long the wait is?

^ It usually has a long wait, due to its slow load/unloading. When the park is busy, the wait for Mantis can be up to an hour and a half long.

Mantis is a big waste! I HATE IT! Riddler's Revenge is way better than this!

Ouch....the pain. This is the only ride I hate at Cedar Point. Rough and painfulas can be.

B&M really let me down on this one as I rode the ride the year it opened and boy was I hyped about it.

This is my least favorite B&M ever! My legs hurt so bad afterwards! And I like Chang. So that proves it is just Mantis! Bad decision on Cedar Point's part!

Since I grew up riding Six Flags Great America's Iron Wolf stand-up coaster, to me, Mantis is by far the best stand-up yet. I experienced no headbanging whatsoever and the hang time on the first loop was sensational. My only complaint is that it was a little too long and fast. My feet began to get sore after a while.

Certainly not the best stand-up though it certainly is better than any Togo stand-up. But that's not saying much. It was a little rough, but nothing for me to get worked up over.

Good lay out but it is very painful. I don't care for the stand up concept.
