Which flat ride of these two do you like better?
i would have to say spider

Spider was always my favorite of the two, unfortunately none are near me anymore. An octopus is at SFA, and its alright.
Ich lebe deinen Traum!Favorites: Amusement Park: depends on my mood | Wooden Roller Coaster: Legend | Steel Roller Coaster: Millennium Force, Batwing/X-Flight
For those who haven't seen either one or the difference (I used to call the same ride both names) here are both. The Spider was taken from the point online site and the octopus was taken from a ringbingo site.... Here is the octopus..
and this is the spider (sorry but I wasn't able to post them together, I tried)..
Spider is one of my favorite flat rides.

New England Patriots, the Super Bowl XXXVI Champions will defend their Championship well this year by winning again. You saw it here first.
USA is in the Top 10 of the FIFA World Rankings for the first time ever.
Congrats to Brazil for winning the 2002 FIFA World Cup.Favorites: | Wooden Roller Coaster: Boulder Dash | Steel Roller Coaster: Supeman Ride of Steel at Six Flags New England
I like the Octopus (like East River Crawler at SFGAM), it doesn't have to take the time to load one section at a time, because of the design

I'd have to say The spider......BGW and KD need to get one of these classics........
spider
Kennywood's spider was sweet...It was over the music stage and green/yellow named Monagahela Monster (after the river Kennywood is beside)

*I see stars...can you see them too?-Deja vu (SFGAm)*Favorites: Amusement Park: Six Flags Great America | Wooden Roller Coaster: Viper | Steel Roller Coaster: Raging Bull, V2, and Deja Vu
PKI has a Spider, it's called the Monster. I don't really like it too much, spinning around constantly in a small area starts to make you feel sick.

I think BGW use to have a Spider,
it was where the current scambler is!
the time frame was mid 1980's!
does anyone else remember this?
Celebrating 10 years of ALPENGEIST. Still the world's tallest, fallest gravity driven inverted coaster.
I prefer the Monster/Spider built by Eyerly. The Monster is a Spider model with four tubs that spin on an axis, whereas the Spider only has two which don't spin. The Monster is the one you see at Cedar Point, whereas the Spider is the one you find at traveling Carnivals.
I could be worng, because as a human I usually am, but I think you mismatched the names of the rides. That carny looking ride would be more of a spider than an octopus and the monster at CP I remember to calling it octopus when I was younger.
But to the poll at hand...The Monster at CP, one of my first flat rides.

That could be. I used to use the same name for both rides(I called them both the Spider). When I was looking @ ride models kits by Faller and IHC, they had the rides names as I did in the pictures. Interesting point!
Spider
i like them both
In the pictures, i always called it the other way around.
But regardless, i like the one with the rotating cars cause you can say Shet!!!!!!!!! over and over and it sounds really funny to the people in line.
