I prefer The Beast a little more then SOB. I really like the way The Beast winds its way through the forest, and you can't see what's coming up.

I agree with RagingBull#1...besides, I never really understood why people liked the Beast...yes it is long and visually it is nice, but to me the ride is boring and the noise in the tunnels are very loud!

i havent been on either so i cant say which one is better but i just find the loop on SOB so amazing for some reason....are there any other woodens with loops?
nope, it is the only wooden with a loop

Just rode the Son for the first time last weekend. I loved it! That loop is the best. Lap bars only, so you can put your hands all the way up. The Beast, on the other hand, gave me a headache that day. I like it anyway, just not as well.

I like the Son of Beast, it's not as long, but it definately is much more intense. It's also much higher faster and has a loop. The Beast is a good ride, but other than the first drop and ending helixes, it's not that exciting.
