I think the new Thrillride! is gonna put an end to the once great Danimation. The forums are the only thing really holding it up. Much love Dan...much love

But Danimation still has a ton of RCT resources which just aren't present here. They are totally different sites, and just because you like the one doesn't mean that you can't like the other.

For RCT, there are few sites that can keep up with Danimation. And the other stuff is just an added bonus.

Danimation does not have a huge RCT database. The only thing real significant on Danimation were its forums which have been declining in recent weeks. Plus, RCT is getting kind of old....

I don't think Danimation is going anywhere for a long time. Now that Thrillride has forums (yay!) it'll have some competition, but most of the people are members of both sites, like me. But don't expect Danimation to throw in the towel and call it quits.

danimation won't go anywhere, i mean it has more RCT stuff than this site will ever have cause this site is more centered on coasters, while danimation is centered on RCT. before these forums danimations was the biggest coaster one (mabye still is). one other thing to keep in mind is now that this forum's new and right now everybody's posting alot (hey, i have a ton after 2 days). i do think that this site will overtake danimation as far as thrill rides and theme parks go, but danimation does have some standing territory

Coaster Man, I think This Page Cannot Be Displayed (http://www.thispagecannotbedisplayed.net) might be bigger than danimation... but I dunno for sure. All speculation.

I don't know what will happen with the other coaster sites, but all I know is that I visit all them daily. (Danimation, This Page Cannot Be Displayed (http://www.thispagecannotbedisplayed.net), and Thrillride!)

I go to danimation a lot, but I never go on the boards. I'm too busy with this site and laughing place (I am also a member of the DIS, but I never post there).

    Danimation just broke 3,200
Thrillride just broke 1,000+
This Page Cannot Be Displayed (http://www.thispagecannotbedisplayed.net) just broke 3,942

But what This Page Cannot Be Displayed (http://www.thispagecannotbedisplayed.net) and Thrillride have over the Danimatino forums is LOADING TIME.

[ This Message was edited by: MPD47 on 2001-05-04 23:26 ]

Ya gotta remember this board just opened.
Even though membership will decline as soon as everyone has joined. I think this will be the second biggest board under This Page Cannot Be Displayed (http://www.thispagecannotbedisplayed.net).

Yes we all agree on loading time, This Page Cannot Be Displayed (http://www.thispagecannotbedisplayed.net) and Thrillride destroy danimation for those.

I actually like both, but I prefer this one better b/c, well, I don't know, I just like this board better than Danimation's. But that doesn't mean Danimation is going under and that I won't quite posting there (maybe once or twice a week)
Life is a rollercoaster, enjoy it, b/c the ride is always too short (If someone's already said this, sorry, I didn't mean to rip it off ya)

Danimation is slow but is worth the loading wait. The wait is not long with DSL, though.
