Post any really rare pictures! I got a few i've saved over years so i thought i'd post them.
Rattler when it opened.
I like the idea of a place to post rare and unusual pics, but how bout putting them all in one post instead of spreading it out over 3 posts?

cause he can only attach one file at a time. if u think he's trying to raise is post count, i doubt it, usually once u get that high u don't care about your post count.

Pretty cool. Was Rattler modified? It seems like that drop looks absolutely insane!
Rattler was modified. It used to have a 170 foot drop which is insanely long for a woodie! But they modified it and retracked some parts because it was so shaky it was hurting people.

Yeah, the drop on the Rattler was right about 170ft., now it's like 124ft. Man I wish I got to ride it in its glory days. It still looks like one heck of a coaster. I have a few of Top Gun: The Jet Coaster at PC that I will put up soon as I scan them.

Hmm. I'm sure that if you want to see some REALLY rare and unusual coasters, you can look at any one of Roomraider's threads. Most of them are from Japan, and are absolutely insane. Like Vanish. Thats a cool looking ride.

I have some old coaster pics of when SFA was Adventure World, and I might post them when I get access to a scanner. Nice pic of Rattler btw.
Anybody interested in seeing photos of Knott's defunct Windjammer Surf Racers actually racing? I took a whole bunch back in the summer of '97 when it was still working as supposed to. I don't think there are any photos of that ride where both tracks are in action on the web.

goudrixs first inversions.you can see why it hurts so much...
Where's a scanner when you need one?! I have a picture here of a water slide at Action Park in New Jersey that had a loop in it. That whole park is defunct now, but that was one crazy waterslide. They had a little door on the top side of the slide right before the loop incase you didn't make it all the way over.

Well, defunct by my standards. About the only thing in common those two parks have is that they sit on the same plot of land.

I think it's rare because of the angle. It's hard to get one that cramms that much track into one shot. I have a cool one of ROAR! @ SFA, I don't know if its rare so I'll try to get it up here soon.

I wouldn't call Roar @ SFA rare, some old pics of Wildone would be pretty sweet though...back before they built up the turnaround.

i was going to post that waterslide, but its good everyone is posting. This could be an interesting thread.......
I have got to get a scanner!! I just found some old pictures my neighbor has of the very first Schwartzkopf shuttle coaster located at Paramount's Carowinds. Of course it isn't there anymore, it was taken out in the 80's. But when I get a scanner I will show all! In the picture, it was located where the waterpark is now, right about where the wave pool is.
