the new coaster that will sit on top of the stratosphere is supposed to lean back and forth. so the train is on a track that tilts and it rolls to the end, stops and holds there, then it tilts back to the end and it does that repetitively. i dont think it would work because rollercoaster's brakes fail all the time and what it these brakes failed, it would be down like 600 feet or wahtever.
i saw the coaster on Channel 6 news in Omaha Nebraska. Yes it is the best and most reliable, it has been voted that and my dad is on the station so it has to be good.![]()

I heard about this and I think it's very wek compaired to their first idea. If they built the other coaster, I would probably take a trip out to Vegas, but not for this little thing that doesn't even look like a coaster.

I'm pretty sure they are aware of the height and risks. I really doubt that the brakes will fail, and if they do, there is probly some kind of secondary safety.
tell me about it! It just looks like a waist of money! I thought that the stratospehre was in bankrupt or something! oh well!
Umm guys, if the brakes fail there's a stopping mechanism. And joe cools gr8 sk8 or whatever hasn't had any problems has it. And i personally think it would be thrilling, not worth a trip, but thrilling. Stalling out over the edge of the building m,ust be scary as hell.

And anyways the breaking would be magnetic. Magnetic Braking never fails. The stratosphere is a pretty nasty hotel for those who have seen it. The tower is old and nasty too.
