Yes!!!! But very un-american (it's tiny). But french cars are popular with young people because although the build quality is merely good they are cheap to fix and insure and have good a chassis (good fun to drive and fairly comfortable).
Actually the GTI's are conisdered classics like this 86-94 205 GTI:
http://www.sportsvogn.no/images/2002...02/205-gti.jpg
It's a standard 205 hatch with a 1.9 litre (fast in those days remember) some body kit and alloys and suspension mods. This is actually a modern classic and good ones fetch £2500+ still. It only wiehgs about 850kg remember also.
The replacement is a bit dull though: (206 GTI 98-present)

Still i would buy one if i could insure it (they have 180BHP now).
Anyway i got the smaller (and it can only really carry people under 4ft tall in the back for any distance) 106 a bit like this but without some of the side body kit.

You should have the Mods edit this so you can vote for more then 1. I realize you can only drive 1 car at a time but some people drive more then 1 like I will be doing.
I will be driving a BMW X5 for the most part and if my dad is fealing nice he will let me drive his Benz S500.
I forgot myself. I have a 2003 Ford Focus. Before that was my first car ever. It was a 2000 focus.
I will be driving a bronze colored 99' Ford Taurus SE when I get my licence late this year.

I drive a '92 BMW 325i. Here's a pic of it after a nice little snow. That explains why it's dirty as hell. Plus I'm lazy and don't feel like washing it during the winter.

Whoa....... its weird that I edited my post about my dads old mustang almost exactly the same time Leeloo posted about having a Mustang 1 year apart. What color was it? And was it a convertable?
BTW, I finally found a car that made my jaw drop. http://nationalvehicles.com/viewlist...sting_id=21005
I think it is $900,000.

I drive a Black 97 Ford Taurus. It's basically CoasterPhil's with a different looking back end. It's sorta crappy, I have an exhaust leak and my dad has yet to fix it, and it has over 100,000 on it, but it gets me places and still runs pretty well.

Bone stock (besides K&N filter) '95 Ford Contour. 2.5L V6 180hp. Nothing spectacular, but it runs, and gets me where I need to go, and it's the first car I've owned myself.

I'm quite dissapointed that Toyota didn't make it onto your list.
Anyways, my first car was an '88 Olds Cutlass Supreme. I drove that til it died, bless it's heart. I then got my new "er" car. I'm now driving a '95 Toyota Avalon and it'd be hard to go back to anything less. My car's got 210,000 and going strong. I hoping to buy something newer towards the end of summer.

Although I don't drive yet, I would want to get any kind of hybrid Japanese car, like a Toyota Prius. I have a friend who has one, she says she hasn't had any maintenance problems with it, they run great, plus, of course, it gets excellent fuel economy. It is Toyota that makes the Prius, right?

Seeing how you left off EVERY Japanese car manufacturer, I have added the big 4 to the list.
yup, the 2004 is even more efficient than the 2002 hybrid they had out. not only that but its quicker too. i recently read an article on it. i'm very impressed with the technology put into the car, but they seem like so much extra work.
