Not sure I'll be able to get it again for you. With the filtering system they have here at work, normally once it's caught it stays caught. I haven't seen it again so far. But if I do I'll try to get it for you.

I don't know if we can with that ad network... that might be a problem, but of course true.com will get you on their background check.
Plus, true.com is listed as an example of an "annoying" site but not inappropriate.
Here's a new one.

I dug into the site, and after really looking into it, I found it was more PG-13 than anything else (which is allowable). Their TOS/Privacy Policy does allow for 13+ members, and anything like that (including choppers) do have girls associated with it.
But I thought the ads had to be "family friendly" on TN.
I'm just concerned about anything that looks like that because pulling it up at work someone could think you're looking at porn or something like that.
I know I'm conservative, but I'd really rather not have to look at that ad or any like it. But it's not my site of course, so it's your decision.

I understand... that's why I did look at the site to see. The site was a bit too much to my own personal liking, and that's why I went to look at the TOS/Privacy Policy. I do have to be objective when it comes to things like this, ya know?
Steven, Here's a new Ad I thought might be questionable.

We need a lot more info, including all ads (excluding Google Ads) displaying on the page, and where they link to. We should not have any pop-up ads at all.
If you do get them on TN, we advise doing a spyware scan with different antispyware tools (not just one tool), because, in most cases, you already have spyware on your computer.
Sometimes there is an EXTREMELY annoying one that says "Zap the mosquito." I know you said don't post abuot "annoying ads" unless it interferes, but it interferes with me browsing the site because it makes a constant buzzing sound until you click it.
Clicking on the ad, then simply getting out of the popup is the easiest way to get rid of the noise.
I found a few text ads between the tool bar and the forums this morning...not very family friendly....

For text ads, we need a screenshot (see reporting guidelines in post #1). We can't do anything about this since this doesn't even tell me which ad network it is. I can say it's not Google because it's in an IP block they do not own.
Also, we have ALL adult content such as this turned off on all ad networks, so I am guessing what is likely here is you have a piece of spyware serving this up in place of ours.
So an ad containing a bottle of alcohol, or someone in a bikini is bad to have on the site, but you can directly post porno links in this thread? Kinda defeats the purpose of getting rid of the ads if you ask me.Originally Posted by Katie

There's an ad for a new National Lampoon's movie with a woman topless with blurred out breasts. A bit iffy if you ask me.
I only mention it cause it talks about her brother watching her topless and that freaks me out.
