nemesis
For me Batman wins; Its more intense, in fact the most intense coaster i`ve ever been on, the G`s don`t let up even when your at the top of the vertical loops, plus it has a first drop.
nemesis
Dont Look Down.....WHERE AM I SUPPOSED TO LOOK?
Nemesis due to its theming and the trenches... although all of the batman clones usually have goo theming as well.
Now, I've never ridden either of them, so I'm not biased in any way. But from what I've seen, they shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence!
Batman: Cookiecutter invert that you'll find at almost every six flags park. (I'm not saying it's bad, but it's just nothing special)
Nemesis: From what I've heard, it's one of the most intense coasters out there. It's in a huge pit, and not once comes above tree level. Right there I think it wins in design alone.

I don't think so. Alpengeist, Montu, Raptor etc. are a different ride experience to Batman or Nemesis (although Montu is kind of in the middle i guess. One type is higher and inverts more but one is more intense.
Nemesis is one of the amazing coasters out there, simply because it kills the rule "bigger is better". John Wardley and B&M proved that you don't need the maximum loops or highest drops, as speed and intensity are relative to what's around you, i.e a stone-faced pit with great theming. Batman was the prototype, and thus it didn't have the chance to be compared with anything at the launch. Actually, it's suprising that 6Fs didn't modify the design for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th installations, as it is made by B&M
I must be the only person who genuinely thinks Nemesis has good drops! I like the one before the first inversion because it is approached at speed. And the drop before the vertical loop is stunning.
anyone think the force on the loop is amazing.........i think it owns otally
I have been on a Batman, but never been on Nemesis, I think Nemesis is better.

Nemesis is an excellent coaster with a fabulous layout and constant fun. However, I am surprised at everyone saying that it's "intense". I have never felt that - it's thrilling, yes - but it's no more intense than say "Samurai" at Chessington.
Bradley the Beaver is one cool rodent.
Amen brother! I've ridden Nemesis and the Batman at Siix Flags Magic Mountain, and whilst Batman is a good coaster, Nemesis wins hands down!

Fraser, the only bit of Nemesis that is always intense, is the helix after the first inversion. The sustained high Gs there make me feel very heavy indeed.

However, Nemesis runs much faster towards the end of the day and it is insanely wild from the first drop onwards, even in the front seat. Personally, I wouldn't touch the back seat with a bargepole!

Intensity is good though, because otherwise you just feel as if you are rolling around on track, in which case you have not had an experience to take you out of yourself, if you know what I mean.
Easally Nemasis.
Ski fast... or don't ski at all...
July 13, Thrillrides last day... Im sooo sad....
I think Nemesis is better than the Batman clones out there 'cause it has very good theming! The landscaping of the ride is pretty awesome too 'cause it gives the leg-chopper effect. Batman's basically just the ride.....There's not much theming to it actually, even though they design the station or a section to be like Gotham City. Whatev.....
Never mind Batman vs Nemesis. Let's just swap our SLC for a BTR! Then we'll have both.
I would say nemesis because of the unique layout and themeing. I like the trenches and the blood colored water. Batman is nice but I still think Nemesis is better.
Nemesis easily, although ive never ridden BTR. How can you compare montu to nemesis? with all the brakes Montu isw the dullest ride ever, only the drop and the loop are any good. The ride practically ends after the mid course brakes. It was better without the trim brakes but even then its not that good a ride. Alpengeist looks boring as well. Raptor looks the best inverted after nemesis.
As Nemesis was the first inverted coaster i rode, i can't help thinking that all others that are 95% above ground seem a little "cheap" and unimaginatively designed. As Inverted coasters havethe oppertunity to be designed in a ground-hugging (and thus more thrilling) way, I can't understand why only nemesis is designed like this. The Great Bear, HP is a slight exception to the rule, using the terrain a bit, but all others are placed on flat ground and left to do their thing above it.
Batman: The ride it is just better layout
Alpengeist is not boring from the first drop to the Cobra Roll are extreeme +G's and Alpies loop is as big as Raptors first drop.
There aren't that many Terrained Inverteds Alpengeist, Montu (slightly),Nemesis are probably the best. Great Bear isn't terrained it was built through other coasters.

Both of you please either ride the ride or know its design before judging.

well the idea to put an inverted coaster in a purposly dug out quarry was one of the best the coaster world has seen in a long time

I've seen a POV video of alpengiest and if you call that bit of snow near the end themeing... lol - nemesis is the best inverted because of its great themeing, and for most of the ride your feet are inches from the walls
I would say batman all the way because like some one said in the beggining the g's never let up and plus it a very dissyish ride and why other would they make so many clones i only think because its such a good ride.
Aplengeists loop is no where near as big as raptors first drop. montu is similar to alpengeist in some ways, i just dont see why it would be any better. It looks like montu
has a better layout than alpengeist.
I'm sorry to too say that Batman wins for intensity, but Nemesis is right up there too!
P C W FRE@K! "from the top to the bottom, bottom to top I stop, at the core I've forgoten, in the middle of my thoughts, taken far from my safety, the pictures there, but the memory won't escape, so why should I care"
havent been on either, but from looks alone, id definatly have to give it up to Nemesis
You have to RIDE the ride to know what it is like! There is more themeing than that. I guess you haven't been to America, I haven't been to England but I am planning a trip for next year to seek out and conquer all of the UKs coasters
uhh, Alpies loop is 106 ft. Raptors first drop is 110ft. how many feet difference is that? 4ft.! I have been on Montu I really didn't think it was really good Montu has a lesser complex layout as in a loop with a s-curve at the end. So I wish you would ride the ride and POV video is BOT rideing it. Next year I may be proven wrong by Nemesis, but I doubt it.
