That's fine. I am going to get into the swing of school and see how things are going and then I might apply to be an Editor. maXair140, what made you think I was older? Just wondering.

The main reason I thought you were older is because you seem to always use correct grammar and you can spell correctly. Which typically, but not always, the older members are the ones to do that.

I know I am new, but I have alot of experience on boards abroad, and I am from NJ. Not to spam or be annoying, but I am 18, and if your short, Im here.

Right now we have enough moderators locally, but I need moderators who can be around during the morning/early afternoon, typically when people in the States aren't available.

Steven did you think any more about what we had chatted about a few weeks back about me helping out on stories, but not neccesarily doing a story every day kind of thing?

I have found stories and submitted them, or in the case of the Italian Job wrote up a story myself and then it took forever to be posted or never got posted due to server problems of whatever.

Your post count has nothing to do with you being able to be on the TN Staff. It is how well you do your job, not how many posts you have.

This is where we stand...

For moderator: I already received one application for that, so we are not accepting any more moderator apps until I say so. So, don't even bother saying you want to be a moderator.

For Story Editors: We need at least 1-2 more editors. We have one pending (provided he get his writing sample in). However, we would like someone from overseas for the last spot.

Lastly, we could use a couple of overseas DB editors, for all of the European, Asian, and Australian rides (not just coasters, other thrill rides as well). We have enough US editors for this group.

Remember, for the story editor and DB editor, you have to be at least 16 years of age.

I wanna be a Mod. And yes I know how to use the features. I have my own invision free forum and I am the Admin and Moderator. But since you arent taking any more Mods im out. I would like to be a story editor but Im 12 not 16.

My question is... what are you doing on here if you're 12 without your parental permission?

There is that age checker there for a reason, and if you're under 12, your parents have to fill out a form and fax or mail it to us saying it's OK. The reason is the US Government requires us to do this under a law called the Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

You also note your date of birth to be January 1, 1992, which would have made you 13, but if you're saying you're 12, you're lying.

My advice would be to get your act together, come straight with the story, and get parental permission fast.
