Looks great! So, my question is, is it Intamin that built this, or another Chinese rip off job? In any case, it looks like a pretty neat coaster.
Just came across these. This rocket opened a Mysterious Island in China in December
That is a big loop :P
looks pretty nifty

Wow. It looks good, but doesn't surprise me really. The fact that there are so many wild coasters in Asia doesn't make this one very special. It does look pretty fun though. Is it like a msaller version of SR at Hershey?

It looks like a pretty cool coaster. Apparently the park also has an S&S Screaming Squirrel and a Huss Topple Tower amongst other things.

For some reason the pictures don't load all the way...but that does look fun...and that loop is really wide.

It's cool how virtually all of the rocket coasters have unique layouts, and complex ones at that. They cram so much variety into a short coaster! Is this the first one that doesn't twist into the top hat?

Don't see what's so unique. Last time I checked lots of rides have vertical loops...
This basically looks like a rocket version of Hypersonic XLC with a loop thrown in.

Only unlike Hypersonic... I bet that ride is fun.
This is a ride that the Air Zoo should get.

They would probably attract a lot more teens that way. I know I would definitely go there more often with them having a coaster.
An Intamin Rocket would be really cool if it was rocket themed. The only simulator ride they have right now that relates to space is about a 12 passenger space shuttle that just tilts up and down shakes you around like crazy.

seriously, this is why I love rocket coasters. SO much potential. The park is, from the informations I got, rather small. So I think this is a good sing that rockets are even available for smaller parks and dont bust the financial expenses they have.
I dont get why people moan about the layout. It at least is something. Not a clone. Something new! A rocket is mostly about the launch, not about the ride itsself. It might not be anything for the americans, but the chinese, who barely got good coasters have a hit there I think.
Ow, Matt M, are u serious? If you look at a coaster in that way, no coaster really is innovative. So anything after Revolution and Corkscrew is just a so called clone then? I dont think so...
I mean, yea, Stengel already said, right now we almost have all the elements possible on the market already and we wont see that much innovation in terms of inversions anymore, but that clearly doesnt mean that a ride is not innovative in terms of elements.
Who woulndt call Storm Runner or Kanonen innovative? Both use elements that have been there before, but I still think they are a big step forward. And so is this ride. Its not all about height and speed, esacilly not for "small", locals parks, but this is exactly where this designs is going. Bringing an innovative ride to the smaller parks and making them affordable.
All I can say is GO INTAMIN GO!!!
just my 2 cents...
Marc
Look at the toople tower it looks like there is a skull on the top of it.
Wow, That is alot smaller than i thought it would be but it still looks like a fun ride.
that ride is too short... with all that speed, it should do more!

I think that Stengel is wrong. Many more inversions are to come. Flying coasters could have loads more.

I wish stand-ups would come back. There have been only a few inversions tried on them: corksrew, loop, dive loop, incline loop, and zero-g roll. I don't understand why parks don't buy them anymore.
Are there are Zer-G-Roll on a stand up coaster?
I'm going to try my best to try and light an old flame...
Shockwave at Drayton Manor UK is the only stand-up with one.

They won't be building stand ups any time soon. B&M quit making them.
^So your saying if a park called B&M and asked for a standup, they would refuse? I have a hard time believeing that...
^^They didn't stop making them, parks just lost interest in them.
This rocket is a bit short, but it looks fun. I like how large (for this size of ride) the loop is.
