New Game

Me and my team of Programmers are currently working on a game called Real Theme Park®. In the game you walk around diffrent theme parks trying out new and exciting rides. But make sure you dont ride too many exciting rides at once because you may get too nauseated. Also, you may need to whatch you walet! You need to save cash for food.

<BR>The resterants have a world of there own! Play arcade games and choose your food. Choose from diffrent resterants from each Theme Park.

<BR>The Rides;
<BR>There are plenty of rides in Real Theme Park®. You can choose from the pony's all the way to the big new hi-tech roller-coasters. There are over 50 rides/shows and games to conquer.

<BR>The Campaign;
<BR>Ahh the campaign. Can you conquer Midway Theme Park in 30minutes without getting too nauseated that yyou would have to leave? What about WaterGate or BigBash? Tons of campaigns to play making for hours of fun!

<BR>Editor;
<BR>Make your own 3d theme parks for outrages play. choos from 15 of each ride to put in your very own park.
<BR>
<BR>Online Play!
<BR>After you make a park play it online with your friends. 10 people per arena (or more depending on connection and cpu speed) for maximum fun!

<BR>Real Theme Park® is due in November so keep screaming and never let your hands down!

It will be in stores around the Portland Metro and Bay area only. You will also be able to purchase the game online and download it or have it deliverd to you.

<BR>right now we are working on concepts and have a park in the making. the game engine itself is pretty much done sos now it is just levl making stuff. a demo willl be out soon. i will keep you posted.

<BR>The only thing I would say would be the ability to create your own designs of like the roller coasters or things of that nature. Or maybe even be able to import coasters from other formats (from coaster designers), I know thats a lot to ask but just a suggestion.

What would a theme park be without water rides?

<BR>Importing from other designers would be expensive and would take more time... We are building an editor for the game that will allow you to build your own parks... maybe if there is time we could creat a editor for roller-coasters.

Will you have replicas of real coasters in the game? I ask because you have a rendering of Goliath in the picture above.

<BR>I think you should have large library of recreations. It would be great to build Millenium Force and Medusa in the same park with a few clicks.

<BR>Perhapps you could contact Badnritus Co., and hire them to do coaster recreations for your design group. I'm sure that would widen appeal for your game, as people would like to make models of their favorite park w/ this game.

Good Eye. The above picture is a replica of actual coasters. The game itself will have replicas of many coasters. But they will all be scaterd around in diffrent theme/amusment parks.

We are rolling along at regular pace with the game. Unfortunatly we can't hire people to do that kind of work because the differ in work tools. We may do a switch from our current work tool to 3DSMax but we are still debating. All the rest gets technical so I will leave it at that.

So far I have had many suggestions in price. I have now come to the conclusion that the price will start at 20-25 us dollars(depending on your location).

Yes, it's a fake picture. That is part of the original Goliath promotional video and not part of your game.

I'm looking at this description with the same skeptism that I had when I read about Theme Park 2001 or whatever it's being called now. It's not that hard to write up a description about a game that doesn't exist. I know, because I've been secretly working on a fully 3D RCT that has the No Limits coaster engine built in to render the coasters and let you ride them, and it all works on 166 with 32 mb of ram! Until we see some screenshots (or better yet a demo) I'm gonna remain very skeptical. Seeing is beleiving. Show us, and we'll beleive. Until then you're just hyping vaporware.

ahh Tom Zeliff you have grasped a hold of the gaming industry. I completely understand what you mean seeing is beleving. Right now we just cought a bug in the engine.. a pretty big one too. we may have to just do some cheap solution to get us back to pace... like using a genesis3d engine O. i know bad developer. but it is almost are only option. besides that engine isn't that bad. maybe we could find another one.

Making fun of my spelling are ya? Anyway I have been talking to a head programmer in our group. We where having some probs with a certain slice of code but we found the problem and are recoding it to make it better. I have recruted a new member to help with the design so we don't lose too much time cause of this problem but the November due date still may happen.

Also we may have a small demo out soon. One of our helpers have created a website using templates... its at http://ww3.idlegames.net the server isn't always on though.. i am working on a new/better design as we speek.

I take that back im starting to not believe you anymore. Anyone can setup a website like http://talestall.50megs.com for free just by going to http://www.50megs.com people would believe you if at least some of the links would work. Any ways when you have at least some links working and that demo of of BrainWashed's works. Even better some screen shots of Real Theme Park or a demo. The name of your company url should be Tall Tales instead of Tales Tall cause thats all it is.

Ow guys that hurt.. Im sorry if the link doesn't work and if the BW demo won't work/.. i am not the best website builder and i have no idea on how to setup a GOOD webserver. Anyway I will try to get our webmaster to work and setup a website on a better faster server..

I used 50megs because i didn't know any other way. Screenshots would be great, but i have been working on a ride editor. i am making two versions one for the devlopers and one for you guys. This will take more time to make the editor but you guys requested it and it is a good idea. Once i finish and build my first coaster with it (or other type of ride) i will post a screenshot so you guys don't bite my head off again.
