^That's cool right there that you are still able to add rides from your childhood. I know I had to think long and hard about rides as a kid for myself. My mother didn't remember me riding any roller coasters as a kid and because of that I am about 95% positive that Sea Serpent was my first coaster. From then on, I kept a pretty good record of what I rode. I may have forgotten a coaster here and there, but after brainstorming for so long I am contempt with my current count that I do remember.

That's good. The pre-enthusiast years you got to scramble up the loose info. I only guestimated how many Dragon Wagons I've been on those early years. I've stuck to two tracks as one credit altogether myself. I still have to get the one side of Twisted Sisters but I won't advance my count. I decided to stick to my current plan years ago when I got Dragon Challenge/Dueling Dragons.

I am up to 92 with a few more left that I hope to hit in December if the weather cooperates. I was hoping to get to 99 by the end of the year so Wild Eagle could be #100 next year. It doesn't look like that's going to happen unless I build a few in my back yard real quick.

That would have been cool if you hit 99 this year. You could be like an altered Jay-Z song, "99 problems"...you got 99 coasters and a TOGO ain't 1.lol

I'm up to 193, looking at a couple trips next season to put me over 200.

  7. #67
    umm let me tally here

I'm only 24 so I have time so it's not that many I've never been to a park outside of Pa.

    Dorney Park:
    Hercules
    Steel Force
    Laser
    Thunderhawk
    Talon
    Hydra

    thats 6

    then at Knoebels

    their 3

    Twister
    Phoenix
    Whirlwind

    that makes 9

    and 3 at Hershey

    the loopy one they have
    Comet
Speedrunner i think its called which made me very sick and i couldn't ride anymore that day

that makes 12 coasters plus kiddie ones

Forgot all about this thread... with Dare Devil Dive in April I'm at 196. Probably wont' make it to 200 this year, but I'm trying to lose more weight and so I can take me revenge on Sandor and the bull! Ole!

Well, I hit 157 from my trip up north this weekend. I am trying to convince my wife that we need to go to one more park this year that we have never been to. I think it's looking promising to hit up SFA later this summer.

^You've been on a real vengeance with roller coasters in the past couple of years. Doing good man. I am sitting at 423 right now with two more parks to visit. That will pretty much wrap up my 2012 roller coaster season. Should finish at just under 450.

I just have a few trips left over the next year or two that will get me over 200 and wrap up a good portion of the east coast. Then I'll start planning more trips out west to start picking off those parks.

Cool cool, a lot of coasters out west too. I need to mainly hit up the mid-west since I have virtually not touched it at all. Also need to head back to Texas some day. It has been 10 years since I've been to an amusement park in that state.

^ If either of you are interested in either a Silver Dollar City or Texas trip next year let me know. Depending on finances I may be able to swing it next year.

Picked up 2 credits at O.D. Pavilion last week, currently at 198.. if all goes well, I'll make Verbolten my 200th coaster in September!

Strangely enough Griffon was my 150th.

Sure. I'll keep it in mind. I'm really trying to get to Hershey/Knoebels next year as well as Waldameer/Darien Lake/Canada's Wonderland.

Waldameer/Darien Lake/Canada's Wonderland is also a trip I'd be interested in too. I already have my passport renewed too.

Sweet! I have started working on the process of getting our passport cards by next year. If we had them we would have made that trip this year.

I'll have to see how my work schedule looks. As it stands right now, I may have to take a 'lovely' trip to the middle east. But if that does not occur, I would be definitely interested in that trip.

Slowly but surely inching up on ya. I'm debating Wonderland either this weekend or next. I'll make a decision probably tomorrow.

I'm hitting Wonderland this Sunday. This will get me over the 250 barrier.

I saw a mention of Waldameer up above. Ravine Flyer II is going to rock your world.
My hardest earned credit is The Legend at Holiday World, first ridden 5.19.2012, exactly 1399 days after my first visit to Holiday World.
    Next up: Knoebels? Great Adventure?

^I'm looking forward to CW. I've already started collecting everything I need for our passport cards.

I might sneak a trip to Waldameer this year but nothing is set in stone right now.

I'm looking forward to my first trip back to Busch since Griffon opened in 2007. Still my favorite park.

And I will at least have to get bashed around by Anaconda at least once I'm sure.

Don't tell anyone, but I'm sneaking across the border to there. Ok, not really. I have a passport. However the military wants you to fill out extra paperwork in order to cross the border for security reasons. Yeah, I haven't got the patience for it and wait for approval. Besides, how hard is it to look like a non-military American there? I'll grow a mustache.lol

At the end of the season I will be at 575. I will be adding 4 new ones (to me) when I go to SoCal next week.
The problem is, when you get to a certain number of "credits" it gets harder to add new ones.

^^LOL! You should start on it now so you can have it by the time I go there next year.

^That's what I hear, so I've been on my quest to get to 200 but after that I'm just going to take it easy and make sure I enjoy the entire experience.

Yeah, you are right about that. Not only that, but you have to think about the cost to get to some of these parks too. It has to be truly worth it. I'm not traveling cross country just to visit a 20 acre park with a caterpillar coaster. If I did that, it would have to be while enroute to bigger parks. Kinda like Idlewild Park. Nice little amusement park, but you clearly have to have another destination in mind while trekking to there. Then with some parks that I have been to before, they have to add a few major rides in order for me to go back again if it is far away. BGT, Dollywood, and SFOG all have new coasters since I was last there, but all of those parks I have exhausted every last ride in the park already. Too far of a trip for just 3 new credits. I don't know, that's my philosophy.
