That's what I was saying. "Oh, nice, now a girl" as I watching that Slovenian video. I hope the slide is reliable enough that Mountain Creek would get one in NJ. It would so be redeeming for that first model. This inclined loop attraction looked like B&M execution of a dive loop on Hydra.

I saw this slide a few months ago. It looks sick. Honestly, I'd be more scared of the bomb-style beginning than the loop.

I wish some water park in the US get one of these soon. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they never show up because of the potential of a lawsuit.

This would be a great major attraction for CW's waterpark.

Spray it from the inside of the loop at the top?

That yellow slide is nice, but the high bank isn't that good. The best part is the steep start. Its similar to the one at AP. It had a tube start because of the steepness, then opened up.

Cool looking slide although i think its more of a high banked turn than an inversion. The top could easily be kept we by high power sprayers like what you see on water slide coasters like at WDW.

Here's another pic I got from someone that day, dug it up in my archives. It actually shows the whole slide without looking cheesy like the brochure did.

Haha that waterslide looks insane. I'd have to ride it at least once if it were still open just to say I had done it

I was updating my coaster count and came across this. I thought I'd add to the discussion...

A looping waterslide? That sounds cool.

What?! There was once a looping waterslide? Why haven't we discussed this in previous years? I'd like to add to the discussion by commenting the this ride looks totally uber-insane.

Dude, this is an epically old thread. It was started in 2001.

    Oh, the memories.

EDIT: If you were talking about the huge yellow one, then nevermind, I don't know. This thread is still awesome though.

Thrillnetwork was built on this thread. You should own this place.

Also, I'd like to add that you would get stuck at the top. Water can't float at the top of the loop. This can't be real. Does anyone have pictures?

Hahaha. Honan Beetch posted in this thread. That's how old it is.

On topic, they were showing off this concept at IAAPA this year.

Screamscape said Mountain Creek was sold by Intrawest back to the original owners of the ski mountain and waterpark and that they expressed some interests to bring back some elements of Action Park. Could they bring back the looping waterslide since another company actually created a successful looping model?

They could use water to launch you through the loop. It's not impossible.
