X-Treme Thrills Amusement Park (RCT2)

A medium-sized amusement park set in a combination of somewhat mountainous and somewhat flat terrain with plenty of room (and plans) for expansion. XTAP has a total of 13 rides, including 5 roller coasters spread across five sections. This park was inspired by two parks (just for fun let's see if anyone can guess which two parks). There are several references to the two parks.

We first have the Entrance. We can see that our soft opening was on a rainy day.



We then proceed to the left into Timber Ridge where we see Timber Run, a GCI wooden coaster that takes you through the trees of Timber Ridge. We also see Lumberjack, an Intamin drop tower and Buzzsaw, a Huss enterprise both themed to an abandoned saw mill.



As we make our way though Timber Ridge, we see Black Magic, our current signature ride. Black Magic is a B&M stand-up coaster standing 130 feet tall, travelling through 4,318 feet of track and 4 inversions. Black Magic features some fire and fog features and includes chaser lights up the lift. We also see an Eli Bridge scrambler and our amphitheater where we will be hosting concerts throughout the year.



We now make our way into the Backwoods section of the park. Here we find Galleon, a swinging pirate ship and Wildwater Falls, a Shoot-the-Chute water ride that takes you through the woods and is sure to soak the entire family.



Once we leave the Backwoods, we make our way into the classic amusement park section, Park Place Plaza. The Plaza features an indoor arcade, several games of skill, plenty of shops, a 1950's era diner, a country music hall, and Skyway, an aerial lift that takes you from one side of the park to another.





As we turn right leaving the Plaza, we head into the outskirts of Pine Valley, home of the Pine Valley Mine Train, Pine Valley Mini Mine Train, Wave Swinger, Pine Valley Eatery, a couple shops, and Pine Valley Station of our Railroad.





Our employee entrance is also located in Pine Valley.



Our last stop on our clockwise journey through the park is Cyclone, a cyclone-style wooden coaster.

but wasn't 100% sure, I'm in the process in making a park on rct3 Platinum! It going to be epic when finished! lol

There is some construction going on in the back of the park between Galleon and Black Magic's dive loop. Rumor has it that it will be an entire section instead of just one ride.



The park should be making an announcement soon.

The grand opening of our new kiddie section, called Kidz World, was a huge success. As you can see, our variety of new rides proved to be very popular among the families.



The park has promised continued expansion, but did not specify which part of the park would be expanded. One can only imagine what will happen with a park that has this much potential. The park also stated that "the Park Place Plaza midway is in the process of being redesigned in order to resolve traffic problems within the area."
Sounds like this area causes problems unforeseen by management, but it is good that they are working on fixing it.



Land clearing has begun up on the hill next to the amphitheater. rumor has it that this could be something big.



A guest was riding our Mini Mine Train and spotted some interesting stuff in the employee parking lot.

The park must be doing something big for season 3 and guests are getting excited already!

Timber Run has been experiencing some problems lately. For some reason, one of our mechanics had not inspected the ride for quite some time, causing the ride to not dispatch, even though the ride was not officially broken down. This led to quite a bit of down-time for the ride and caused the queue line to exceed the queue house with 300+ people. We then experienced another problem while extending the queue line even more, but this caused more problems with the queue line. The only thing I can figure is that the queue line has reached a maximum length.

The park stated that both problems have been resolved and that an announcement will be made soon regarding the new ride.

It has been a while since we last left you with an update.

The park has announced a new roller coaster to be added to the park located up on the hill across form Wild Water Falls.



The new coaster will take riders up above the treetop and down through 6 inversions while hugging some of the terrain. Once the train clears the lift, riders are sent down a dive that curves to the left and immediately sent through a 115 foot tall vertical loop. Riders then speed into a 100 foot tall cobra roll and into a 95 foot tall zero-G roll. Riders will then turn around in a 450 degree turn-around curve and onto the mid-course brake run. Once the train clears the brake run, they are sent through 2 corkscrews and back into the station.
